  • Students are responsible for event production, from booking the venue to conceptualising the running order, through to publicizing the event
  • Independent professional practice

1 apply appropriate research skills, creating a viable and relevant critical basis for their presentation;


2 analyse and reflect critically upon a range of ongoing, issues and debates;


3 evaluate, interpret and reflect upon their own ideas and statements and those of others;


4 demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of the ways in which key photographic forms and genres map onto specific modes of professional practice;


5 produce a coherent and independently formulated understanding of a range of historical and contemporary topics and their representation in photographic forms;


6 present verbally and visually research demonstrating a professional level of practical and intellectual capability.

If you choose to do something more interactive in your presentation, don’t make it gimmicky; make sure it affects your presentation and the perception of your audience.

Assessment:

  • All the research and development work for 350MC presented on a blog, which must include:
  • A definitive blog post (max 3000 words) including: the final presentation script with a link to or embedded recorded/ video format; and an evaluation (how the talk and following questions went, how the research project went etc. it may be worth including thoughts on the future dissemination of your research, and the connection and development to your FMP)
  • A bibliography and list of references
  • All relevant blog posts, detailing the progression of the research project from the start of the module. This should include the original proposal
